FPGA Design Experience

Octera has completed FPGA and CPLD designs using all the major vendors, although we are specifically aligned today with Altera. We bring some of the rigor of ASIC design procedures to the FPGA world to achieve success with the ever larger and more complex devices available in today's market, whilst recognizing that FPGA designs can be more extensively tested in hardware to accelerate the design process.

We are especially experienced in the areas of DSP, embedded processors and SERDES in today's FPGA technology. We have developed a lot of FPGA expertise in the area of high-speed networking; recent designs have implemented XAUI and custom XAUI, SPI4.2, Broadcom's HiGig and HiGig+ standard among others.
